The Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes delivered a dark and stormy loss to visiting Cedarburg on Friday night, trouncing the Bulldogs 47-9 before a devoted homecoming crowd, who braved a rainy night at Lubar Stadium to watch Bay continue undefeated in the North Shore Conference.
Led by QB Cade Garcia, the Dukes offense was literally unstoppable. He connected with Maurice David Lee III for a pair of TDs, and found WR Alex Anthony early in the game for a 21 yard touchdown. The Dukes’ ground game was equally impressive with RB/LB Patrick Nau rushing for two TDs, and RB/DB Bo Bassindale and WR/LB Tommy Brunner each added touchdowns of their own.
Bay’s defense thrived under wet conditions, holding the Bulldogs to 37 yards rushing on the night, which was punctuated by two interceptions by WR/DB Case Fleck and RB/DB Keon Lacefield-May.
Next Up: The Dukes travel north to face Hartford Union on Oct. 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
