MJS: Bay Has “Most Prolific Quarterback-Receiver Tandem”

In its preseason coverage of the North Shore Conference, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel didn’t mince words about the strength of the Blue Dukes offense for the upcoming 2017 season.
“The most prolific quarterback-receiver tandem in the area,” the newspaper wrote, “resides in the North Shore Conference.
Senior Cade Garcia is the area’s top returning passer after completing 158 of 292 passes for 2,558 yards and 26 touchdowns last season. Alex Anthony, a senior, owns that distinction among receivers after catching 74 passes for 1,145 yards and 12 scores.”
The publication also singled out senior defensive lineman Brady Weas, senior linebacker and lineman Carson Kimple, senior safety Case Fleck and senior running back Bo Bassindale as standouts on the 2017 Duke Varsity.
