John Whitehead

When it comes to physical strength and conditioning, the Blue Dukes have a true asset in assistant football coach John Whitehead.
An NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Whitehead joined the varsity coaching staff as the team’s strength and conditioning coach in 2014 after serving as freshmen defensive coordinator and summer strength and conditioning supervisor for his alma mater, Mound Westonka High School in Minnetrista, MN, from 2006-2010. His success as a coach only added to his accomplishments as a student athlete, having lettered in football, track and lacrosse.
John’s approach to coaching draws inspiration from NFL Hall of Fame Coach Marv Levy:
“When it’s too tough for them, it’s just right for us.”
