Dukes Named to Now News 2017 All Suburban Football Team

The Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes Football Team is proud to announce that several members of the 2017 Varsity team were named to the Now News Group’s 2017 All Suburban Football Team.
Wide Receiver: First-team All State Selection
Alex Anthony
“One of the few receivers in the state to clear 1,000 yards, catching 70 passes for 1,141 yards and 11 touchdowns. Helped Bay achieve one of the top passing offenses in the state, closing the season with a trip to Level 4 and a North Shore Conference title.”
Quarterback: Honorable Mention
Cade Garcia
“All State pick completed 167 of 275 passes (60.7 percent) for 2,547 yards and 30 touchdowns with seven interceptions, leading Bay to Level 4 of the Division 3 playoffs and a share of the North Shore Conference title. Also ran for 399 yards and five scores.”
Kicker: Honorable Mention All State
Zach Lichosik
“Made all 49 extra points for North Shore Conference co-champion, with seven makes in eight field-goal attempts. Long of 41 yards — one of four field goals in huge shutout win over Homestead.”
Defensive Back: Honorable Mention All State
Case Fleck
“Made 83 total tackles, with three for loss. Hauled in three interceptions, forced two fumbles and recovered two others. Returned one interception for a touchdown. Honorable mention All State.”
