Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes Football Hall of Fame

Mike Schneck

Mike Schneck played for the Blue Dukes from 1992-1995, and was a twice awarded All-League linebacker. He was also the team captain and the Dukes MVP in his senior year.

College Career

After graduating from Whitefish Bay, Schneck joined the University of Wisconsin Badgers as a linebacker under legendary coach Barry Alvarez. He would go on to be a three-year letter winner and a member of 1998 Big Ten and 1999 Rose Bowl championship teams.

NFL Career

Schneck’s professional career began in 1999 after he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He would go on to play for the Buffalo Bills (2005-06) where he was selected as a member of the 2005 Pro Bowl team.

After 11 seasons and 159 games in the NFL, Mike finished his playing career with the Atlanta Falcons where he played from 2007-09.
