A dream came true Saturday for former Blue Dukes great Brady Weas (Class of 2018) as he signed as an Undrafted Free Agent with the Houston Texans of the NFL.
The long snapper finished his college career at Nebraska as a graduate transfer after spending three years snapping for the Georgetown Hoyas. Before that, Weas was a multi-sport standout that played football, basketball, baseball, and rugby for the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes.
On the football field, Weas was a 3x All-Conference defensive end, a 2x All-Conference offensive linemen/utility player, was twice selected as All-Area, and earned both the Carl Fuda Leadership and Duke Pride awards. He was also a part of two Conference Championship teams and was selected Captain twice.
Congratulations, Brady! Good luck in the NFL!
