Dukes Slam Grafton 14-0, Even Record

The Blue Dukes evened their record to 2-2 with a 14-0 won over the Grafton Black Hawks on Friday night at Lubar Stadium.

The Dukes scored all of their points in the 1st quarter with Head Coach Jake Wolter drawing upon the prowess of the Dukes running game. RB/DB Drew Garcia, who racked up 97 yards on 25 carries, ran in a 11 yard touchdown at the 6:55 mark. Three minutes later RB/DB Patrick Nau added another TD with a 66 yard run. Both Garcia and Nau each put up 97 yards rushing for the night.

The remaining quarters of the game were all about the Dukes D  shutting down the Black Hawks offense and holding them to 11 yards rushing on the night. TE/LB Cameron Cox recorded two sacks, and OL/DL Israel Blunt, RB/LB Eric Anthony RB/LB Patrick Muth also sent Grafton QB Zach Weir to the turf.
