Kirkendoll, Lichosik Shine on College Turf

The Blue Dukes are proud to report that Michael Kirkendoll (’17) and Zach Lichosik (’18) are making their marks on the college gridiron.

Michael Kirkendoll, a sophomore and defensive back for the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs, earned 2nd team all-conference Defensive Back in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSCI).

As a Blue Duke, Michael was 1st Team All-Conference at wide receiver/defensive back and named to both the 2016 Journal Sentinel All-Area Prep 1st Defense (Secondary) Team and the 2016 NOW All-Suburban Team.

Zach Lichosik | UW-Whitewater

Lichosik

Zach Lichosik, a freshman punter for the national semi-finalist UW-Whitewater Warhawks, kicked a 32-yard field goal against Middle Georgia State, which was the first of his college career. He made two more appearances in the 2018 season, punting for 75 total yards (37.50 avg) against St. Norbert and 232 total yards (38.67 avg) against Bethel University.

In 2017, Zach was awarded the Kevin Stemke Award, which recognizes Wisconsin’s top senior kicker or punter.
