Alumni Check In: Macklin Kortebein

Blue Dukes Alum Macklin Kortebein (’16) was recently highlighted by Spectrum News as the “Human Swiss Army Knife” is helping lead his Holy Cross Crusader football team to the Championship.

“Fifth-year senior Macklin Kortebein has been a special teams star during his time with Holy Cross, and while he has continued that this year, he has been impressive as a running back in the Crusaders offense as well.”

“As Kevin Shea tells us, the “Human Swiss Army Knife” Kortebein is all smiles this year, he’s having a ton of fun on the football field.”

Kortebein was a do-it-all senior captain on the Blue Dukes 2015 Championship team, earning first team All-North Shore Conference honors as a senior after being a second team selection as a junior.  He rushed 271 times for 1,695 yards and 20 touchdowns in his high school career, while catching 52 passes for 803 yards and five scores.
