Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes Football

Open Letter from Coach Jake Wolter & Staff

Jacob Wolter

Dear Blue Dukes Nation,

The 2020 season is one that we will remember for a long time. When we started practice on September 7th we had no idea how long we would be playing for.

This season saw a special group of young men come together as a team and accomplish the goals they set for themselves in a time where they didn’t know if they’d be allowed to take the field the next day.

In the end, they can proudly call themselves Conference Champions and the top-ranked Division 2 team in the state of Wisconsin.

We wouldn’t have been able to do this without you, Blue Dukes Nation.

Thank you, Duke fans, for the incredible way that you supported us this year. This community plays an integral role in the success that our players have both on and off the field. Without your support and contributions, the Whitefish Bay Football program would not have the rich tradition it has today.

A special thank you to the following people for going above and beyond this year:

  • Superintendent Dr. John Thomsen
  • Athletic Director Jeff Worzella
  • Principals Amy Levek and Julie Henningsen
  • District Nurse Jackie Turkal
  • Our camera crew, Bill Hobbins and Jason Burroughs
  • Brandon Rindfleisch (Statistics)
  • Mellisa Mueller and her entire training staff
  • Laura Pandl
  • Pat McKenna (Website/Social Media)
  • Mike Bortolotti
  • Jason Brunner (Pregame meals)
  • Rod Brower (Photographer)
  • Milena Brower, Dawn Jorndt, and volunteers (Chili Dinners)
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach Spencer Schultz
