Dukes Slam Nicolet 27-9

The Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes returned to the business of winning with a blistering 27-9 defeat of crosstown rival Nicolet on Friday night, moving its record to 3-4 for the 2018 season.
The Dukes rushing game was the story of the night with RB Drew Garcia running for 180 total yards on 31 carries and four touchdowns. He was followed by WR/LB Jayden Jackson with 59 yards and Dajun Johnson with 39 yards. Rounding out the Duke’s offensive push was WR/LB Tommy Brunner with a 30 yard reception.
The Dukes D recorded a single interception by WR/DB Karon Lever, and effectively shut down the Knights passing and rushing game. Nicolet was 10-19 on passing and 26-96 on the run.
